These two were wacky. Immature red-tail hawk and tenacious grey squirrel. The raptor was perched just above the rodent's den and watched with mild interest as the squirrel zipped about. Unexpected interaction in Prospect Park, Brooklyn NY early August '09.

Truro dawn Pamet

This one:

So I biked to the Pamet in Truro at dawn, and took a bunch of pictures with my new digital SLR Nikon D40. Had the telephoto lens 55-200 mm. Auto setting for focus and light.

I was feeling especially creative that morning last summer. And I knew something good could come of it. I think the branches look like bones.
